MY WORK

Supporting learners
Throughout 18 years as an education professional I have been incredibly fortunate to be rated as an outstanding teacher in all appraisal reviews, inspection cycles and formal observations. I've tried to achieve and maintain this record through a great deal of hard work, dedication to continued professional development and a focus on putting individual needs and learning first.

Leading and developing others
Involvement in teacher recruitment, NQT induction training, Performance Management, Professional Development Training and Leading the GEMS Network across the Middle East has provided me the opportunity to support and help develop other teachers and is something I greatly value and enjoy.

Professional Development and Research
My interest in education led me to my recent completion of an M.Ed (with Distinction) and to my continued pursuit to understand the latest research - such as the learning pit, developing grit, growth mindset and collaborative learning. Involvement with James Nottingham, Mark Treadwell and TES Global has also supported this personal aim. In addition, I utilise Twitter and LinkedIn on a regular basis to share research which may be of interest to others. Please feel welcome to take a look
